Last night, the Saika Elizabeth Foundation (SELF) had the privilege of spending meaningful time with the resilient women of Vallée de la Paix, Bonendale, engaging in an open and empowering dialogue on Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

The session focused on GBV awareness, recognizing early warning signs, safe and confidential reporting channels, and practical ways survivors can seek support and case management within the community. Through honest conversations and shared experiences, we reinforced a powerful message: violence is never acceptable, and help is available. We are grateful to the women of Vallée de la Paix for their courage, trust, and active participation. Together, we continue to build safer communities where women and girls are informed, protected, and empowered to speak out.
