Quarterly Progress Report: Social Cohesion in Mabanda

From October to December 2025, the SELF/HASD consortium achieved significant milestones in the first quarter of the Social Cohesion project in Mabanda, Douala IV.

Key accomplishments include administrative engagement, consultations with community leaders, and the training of inclusive validation committees. A highlight was the community dialogue involving over 170 participants, where IDPs and host communities identified challenges like insecurity and discrimination.

Together, we proposed solutions such as vocational training and cultural exchange events to foster lasting peace.
